Returning to the Home Corral

After receiving such an unbelievably positive response from everyone we had the opportunity to speak with at Prairie Fibre Festival in Lacombe, we have decided to open up registrations for Spring 2026 Retreat in Drumheller, AB early.

What does this mean?

• You can register early to attend this retreat

• You can add this retreat to a gift list for a loved one (or loved ones) to register for you to attend

• If you register for a friend or loved one to attend (i.e. birthday or holiday gift), upon receipt of the registration fee, we can email you a printable that you can include to let them know (please email us at yabbyyaks@gmail.com to request this)

The Yaks do their best to allow you to spend your time at Retreat relaxing. You can spend time reading, crafting, coloring, going for walks, watching a movie, enjoying the pool, taking time to explore the Drumheller Dino's with your fibre arts project... whatever "retreating" means to you. We try our best to keep the retreats relatively unstructured. The only scheduled activities are:

• Friday night PJ Party

• Saturday Gift Exchange

• Saturday Group Dinner

(If there is enough interest, we may look at arranging a trip to the Royal Tyrrell Museum.)

Our goal is to organize cost friendly retreats where you can get away and relax with fellow fibre arts community members.
